What is the "Regional Tax Supplement"? At Cepsa we want to be transparent with our customers, which is why we want to inform you of any new developments that affect your bill. Therefore, we inform you that: Electricity access tolls are part of the price of electricity and are intended to cover different cost items in the electricity sector with regulated remuneration. These cover, among others, the cost of grid activities (transmission and distribution of electric power) and production from renewable energy sources, cogeneration and waste under the premium regimen. In 2013, the regulations contemplated that if these electricity activities were taxed with regional taxes, a regional supplement would be included in the access toll for consumers in that Autonomous Community, although this supplement was not approved by the Government. In execution of the rulings(1) of the Supreme Court handed down as a result of the appeals filed by companies operating in the electricity sector, the Minister for Ecological Transition approved a ministerial order with the regional supplements for their Autonomous Community that will be applied in future invoices, based on the consumption made in 2013. Therefore, Cepsa Comercial Petróleo, S.A.U. will regularize the amounts resulting from the application of the value set for the regional supplement of said Autonomous Community. This regularization will be applied to your invoice and will be identified by the item "Regional supplement for regional taxes from the Autonomous Community of Andalusia for 2013"
